Post-AcuteEquipment Solutions

Your trusted partner for cost-effective equipment, rentals, and lifecycle support for post-acute care settings.

Tailored Solutions for Post-Acute Care Facilities

Master Medical Equipment supports facilities that care for patients after discharge. Whether you operate a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), rehab center, LTACH, hospice program, or a hospital-at-home model, your equipment has to stay reliable, safe, and compliant through high daily use.

We help solve common post-acute pain points: tight reimbursement pressure, constant census changes, staff turnover, audit readiness, and the challenge of maintaining capital equipment without an in-house HTM/biomed team. We are not here for a one-time purchase. We help you standardize equipment across sites, reduce downtime, and keep your fleet ready through every stage of ownership.

A History of Trust in the Post-Acute Space

We’ve supported healthcare organizations nationwide with new and recertified equipment, accessories, rentals, and service pathways. Our team understands the realities of post-acute care, where uptime matters, budgets are scrutinized, and documentation is essential.

Master Medical Equipment helps post-acute providers stay equipped with dependable technology that supports patient safety, staff efficiency, and operational consistency across multiple rooms, wings, and facilities.

WHAT’S DIFFERENT ABOUT EQUIPMENT IN POST-ACUTE VS. HOSPITALS?

Post-acute equipment has to balance reliability, uptime, and cost control under heavy day-to-day use. Facilities often have lean clinical support teams, frequent staff turnover, and limited onsite biomed resources. The goal is consistent, easy-to-support equipment that stays compliant and ready across many rooms and, often, multiple locations.

DO POST-ACUTE FACILITIES REALLY NEED AN AED?

In simple terms: yes. Post-acute facilities care for higher-risk patients, and cardiac emergencies can happen without warning. An AED supports faster response during a code until EMS arrives and helps staff act confidently in those first critical minutes.

CAN I TRUST RECERTIFIED EQUIPMENT FOR A POST-ACUTE FACILITY?

Recertified equipment can be a smart way to protect your budget while still getting reliable performance. At MME, recertified devices are tested, verified, and documented to meet performance specifications from the manufacturer, and they ship ready for clinical use. It is a practical path for fleet replacement, adding capacity, or standardizing equipment across multiple sites.

HOW DO I KNOW WHAT EQUIPMENT WE NEED, AND HOW MANY UNITS?

Start with your acuity and layout. An LTACH will prioritize different equipment than a SNF or rehab facility. Volume, patient risk, room count, and staffing model all affect how many AEDs, monitors, or respiratory devices you need. An MME rep can help map coverage by floor or wing so you avoid gaps, duplication, or bottlenecks.

WHAT OPTIONS EXIST IF WE NEED EQUIPMENT QUICKLY, OR ONLY TEMPORARILY?

Rentals can be a strong option for census spikes, short-term equipment failure, temporary programs, opening a new wing, or trialing equipment before a larger standardization purchase. Renting keeps care consistent without forcing a rushed buying decision.
